Sarah Garrood

Sarah started her professional career with the accountancy firm Arthur Andersen in Tax and in 1997 joined Michael Page Plc where she went on to become Director of the Consumer Practice in their search division.

In 2009 she moved with her family to Bermuda where she worked for the island's leading management consulting and recruitment company. She specialised in all areas of offshore recruitment including working with the Bermuda regulator on a high profile international recruitment campaign. In 2012 she moved to Jersey where she set up the offshore arm of the recruitment firm Maven Partners.

As a Classics graduate and a trained librarian she loves to read. She loves island living, spinning classes and is an avid dog walker.

Since joining Lean In 3 years ago I have felt nothing but support and inclusion from both the other members of the network and the committee. I believe that the work we have done so far in Jersey has started to change the dial here in relation to D&I, and I want to help influence the future.
